Harrigan Home started as an Instagram account about home goods in Barbados. It is now a free app that gathers deals from local stores in one place.

I am a content creator in the home goods space, based in Barbados. For a few years I have been posting what I find: the deals, the decor, the plants, the DIY jobs that went well and the ones that did not.

People kept asking the same thing in my comments. Where did you get that, and is it still on sale. There was no answer I could give that did not involve driving around or checking a dozen store pages one at a time.
So I asked a question back, on a poll, in April 2026: would you come on a shopping tour of home stores. Enough people said yes that it stopped being a joke and became a day out.
How the tour started
On Saturday 25 July 2026 we ran the Home Goods Tour: a coach, five partner stores, one day across Barbados. Shoppers registered, got on the bus, and went store to store with deals set up for them at each stop.
What people said at the end of that day turned into the app. They did not want a tour every week. They wanted to know what was on sale before they left the house, and they wanted the deals in one place.
The community
@harriganhome is where this still lives day to day: deals, decor, plants, DIY and the odd recipe. Members spot deals for each other in the app now too, which is how a lot of what you see gets found.
